Lightweight glasses, sculpted in three dimensions
EYEs CLOUD is the original house brand of Hug Ozawa Co., Ltd., a Fukui-based Japanese eyewear company founded in 2006. The brand’s organising idea is in the name — eyewear designed to feel as light, supple, and uncomplicated as a cloud.
That feel comes from the choice of material. Most EYEs CLOUD frames are made from ULTEM, a super-engineering plastic that is significantly lighter than acetate or many metals, heat-resistant, and elastic enough to flex without snapping. Because ULTEM is injection-moulded rather than cut from sheet stock, the frames can take on three-dimensional sculpted forms that are simply not possible in traditional materials.
EYEs CLOUD is designed in Japan and produced in Korea, where Hug Ozawa runs a dedicated subsidiary for the ULTEM moulding work. The result is a Japan-design / Korea-manufacturing partnership that has earned the brand multiple Good Design Awards, an OMOTENASHI Selection, and the 2021 Kids Design Award for the children’s MIRAI line.

Collection 01
URBAN
The contemporary line — modern, refined silhouettes positioned by the brand as the “new frontier” of EYEs CLOUD. Clean shapes meant to read as everyday eyewear, with the signature lightness coming through once they are on the face.
Collection 02
WIDE
Wider-fit frames designed for larger face shapes — bigger lens widths and longer temples without the heaviness that wide-fit frames usually bring, thanks to the ULTEM construction.
Collection 03
MIRAI — kids
The children’s collection. Built in RILSAN, a plant-derived bio-resin made from castor beans, with the same super-elastic and shatter-resistant properties as ULTEM. Awarded the 2021 Kids Design Award in Japan.
Collection 04
KYOUDO — strength
Durability-focused styles for wearers who put their glasses through real life. Engineered for flexibility and impact resistance — the same ULTEM toolkit, tuned toward longevity and active wear.

Every EYEs CLOUD frame is built for prescription use. Your prescription, frame measurements, and lens selection are all handled in-house.

In-house optometrists
Prescription updates, frame measurement, and lens fitting are all handled by our team under one roof. No handoff between optician and optometrist.
Adjustments and aftercare
Complimentary frame adjustments and tune-ups after purchase. ULTEM is designed to flex, but we still tune the fit so the frames sit exactly where they should.
